Sausage Sizzles
We need people willing to cook, serve, chat, be friendly and run our sizzle operations on the day.
We do one-two sizzles per month and you can volunteer from two hours up to the full day. Be ready to cook and serve, have a friendly chat and raise funds!
Everything is provided on the day, you just need to arrive, set up, serve and clear away. We need helpers able to handle food and money, be organised, reliable, friendly and polite.
Events
When we participate in, or host, fundraising events we need volunteers to be able to help us. Tasks can range from planning and organisation and speaking to the public about what we do; selling raffle tickets and taking photos, face painting and encouraging others to help out.
Donation Transport
At times, we’re offered large donations, for example furniture.
Our Donations Coordinator will contact you and provide you with the contact details of the donor for you to call and arrange a suitable time to collect the item and then deliver it to us.
When/for how long:
Donation offers fluctuate, however, it will get busier when we are opening a new refuge.
