As we are not government funded, the women in our care need to pay a contribution towards rent, utilities and internet access.
The vast majority of women arrive with very little, if anything at all.
Our fundraising efforts and sponsorship opportunities go directly to offsetting the cost of staying with us so the women can concentrate on rebuilding their lives.
A donation of $250.00 can help operate one room in our refuge for two weeks. The sponsored room will be named in your honour with a certificate placed by the door to show the women in our care that you care too.
A donation of $500.00 can help operate one room in our refuge for 1 month. The sponsored room will be named in your honour, you will receive a certificate of appreciation and you will be featured on our social media pages.
Any donation of over $500 will contribute towards the living expenses, purchase any required items for the refuges and/or assist with fundraising events. You will receive a certificate of appreciation and personalised thank you card, you will be featured on our social media pages as well as on our dedicated website page for valued sponsors.

Corporate support opportunities exist by way of; cash donations, workplace giving, volunteering, sponsoring a room in our refuges, nominating My Friends’ Place as their annual charity of choice, pro bono services, staff fundraising, gold coin collections, raffle prize donations, donation of goods, and sharing our cause via business networks and social media.
Your support will have an immediate effect on the women in our care. Your contribution will directly help women who have escaped the most horrific of situations, begin their new brighter and safer lives.
